Find Your Place to Serve

SFNA offers four ways to get involved based on your interests, experience, and strengths. Explore each opportunity to find the role that best fits how you want to support the future CRNA community.

Future CRNA Advisory Council

Advisory Council members provide feedback on SFNA initiatives, programs, resources, and issues affecting future CRNAs.

Council members may be asked to:

– Review new or existing SFNA programs and resources
– Provide feedback through surveys, email, or online discussions
– Share insight on challenges facing future CRNAs
– Respond to specific questions or materials from SFNA leadership
– Recommend opportunities for SFNA to better serve its community

Most work can be completed virtually and independently. Members participate in a 45–60 minute quarterly virtual meeting and may occasionally be asked to provide feedback between meetings.

SFNA Ambassador Program —

SFNA Ambassadors help increase awareness of SFNA within their hospitals, ICUs, schools, programs, and communities.

Ambassadors are expected to:

– Promote SFNA and communicate its value to future CRNAs
– Stay informed about SFNA programs, events, and resources
– Share relevant SFNA opportunities within their networks
– Identify opportunities to increase SFNA visibility
– Connect interested nurses and organizations with SFNA
– Respond to occasional SFNA Ambassador communications

Committee members participate in a 45–60 minute quarterly virtual meeting and may review or respond to planning materials between meetings.

Community Outreach Committee

The Community Outreach Committee helps SFNA identify and develop relationships with organizations that can expand our reach and support our mission.

Committee members may:

– Research hospitals, nursing schools, universities, and professional organizations
– Identify potential community and organizational partners
