Kiki Mattress - President & Founder

  • Founder and President of the Society of Future Nurse Anesthetists (SFNA), a national nonprofit empowering ICU nurses and aspiring CRNAs through mentorship, education, and community.

  • Practicing Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) since 2018, providing anesthesia care across multiple specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, and pediatrics.

  • Over two decades of experience in healthcare, beginning as a Surgical Technologist and progressing through critical care nursing to advanced anesthesia practice.

  • Speaker, mentor, and educator with a passion for helping nurses unlock their professional potential and pursue advanced practice roles.

  • Holds a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from the University of New England, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina Upstate, and multiple healthcare certifications including ACLS, PALS, and BLS.

  • Dedicated to advancing the nurse anesthesia profession through advocacy, professional development, and leadership.

Henry Hagopian, III – Board Treasurer

  • Seasoned Finance Executive with over 30 years of leadership experience spanning biotech, high technology, telecommunications, and manufacturing industries.

  • Serves as Chief Financial Officer for a private equity–backed defense and aerospace manufacturer.

  • Former CFO of ANNOVIS Bio (NYSE: ANVS), where he led strategic planning, investor relations, and SEC financial compliance for a clinical-stage biopharma company.

  • Previously held senior finance roles at Organogenesis Holdings (NASDAQ: ORGO), including Interim CFO, SVP of Finance, and Treasurer—helping secure over $265 million in capital and expand liquidity through major financing initiatives.

  • Expertise includes corporate restructuring, treasury and cash management, mergers and acquisitions, IPO readiness, ERP implementation, and strategic financial planning.

  • Holds an MBA and M.S. in Accounting from Boston College and a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Alexander Pusey - Board Secretary

  • Director of Business Planning and Operations at Thorne HealthTech, a leading manufacturer of health technology and nutritional products.

  • Oversees strategic planning, financial operations, and global expansion initiatives that have doubled company revenue and profitability.

  • Leads cross-functional teams in business development, ESG strategy, and AI integration to enhance performance and growth.

  • Holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business (Supply Chain Management) from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.

  • Dedicated to advancing organizational sustainability and operational excellence in the healthcare innovation sector.

Nzinga Lowe - Board Member

  • Founder and CEO of Pygmalion Health, a healthcare advisory firm that helps medical practices improve performance, patient outcomes, and value-based care strategies.

  • Experienced global business advisor and clinical operations executive with a focus on health equity, value-based care, and minority health outcomes.

  • Former Regional Director of Clinical Operations for Wellvana Health, leading initiatives that increased quality metrics and patient access across multiple states.

  • International speaker and health equity officer recognized for her work in population health, clinical innovation, and provider education.

  • Passionate about advancing diversity, inclusion, and sustainable transformation across the healthcare industry.

Ernest Aliseda - Board Member

  • Legal Counsel at DHR Health, one of the largest physician-owned hospitals in the U.S.

  • Retired State District Judge and Lieutenant Colonel (U.S. Army JAG Corps) with more than 30 years of combined legal, military, and judicial experience.

  • Former Regent of the University of Texas System and past Commissioner for the Texas Military Preparedness Commission.

  • Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and Certified Mediator and Arbitrator.

  • Holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Health Law & Compliance from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

  • Recognized nationally for his service with honors including the FBI Director’s Award and multiple Army Meritorious Service Medals.
